Assignment #24

1.  If I took a picture of my car I would not be able to store it using the ISO 8859-1 character standard because this standard is only used for texts, numbers and special characters, not pictures.

2. Hello written in ISO 8859-1 character standard is:

01001000 01100101 01101100 01101100 01101111

a. It took 40 bits
b. It took 5 bytes.
c. This information would take the same amount of bytes in both memory and storage.

3. It will take 4 seconds to transfer Hello from one computer to another.

4. Neither 100 random bits nor 1,000 random bits would have any information because the bits are random. In order to have information the bits would have to be organized using code.
